The fundamentals.
Yes. Research from the last five years has consistently shown that for intensive outpatient levels of care, virtual treatment produces outcomes comparable to in-person programs. Our program uses the same clinical curriculum, the same therapists, and the same team-based model as our brick-and-mortar facilities — just delivered through secure video.
Adults who are medically stable (no acute withdrawal, no active suicidality requiring inpatient care) and who need more than weekly outpatient therapy can offer. That includes people stepping down from residential or PHP care, and people stepping up from traditional outpatient therapy that hasn’t been enough on its own.
Yes, it’s private — and no, they can’t. We operate under full HIPAA protections, and our secure platform is end-to-end encrypted. We never share information with family, employers, or anyone else without your explicit written consent.
We are licensed to provide virtual care nationwide. During admissions we’ll confirm your state of residence and match you with a clinical team licensed in that state.
How the program fits into your week.
Group therapy three to four days a week, about three hours per session, plus one individual therapy session and — when clinically appropriate — a medication management visit. We offer multiple time blocks so you can choose mornings, afternoons, or evenings.
Most clients are in the program for eight to twelve weeks, with the exact length determined collaboratively based on clinical progress. Some clients stay longer; some step down sooner. We re-assess on a rolling basis.
Yes — that’s the entire point. We run morning, afternoon, and evening tracks so the program flexes around your schedule. Many of our clients keep working full-time throughout treatment.
What it costs and how coverage works.
We’re in-network with most major commercial insurance plans including Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Anthem, Optum, and UnitedHealthcare. The fastest way to know for sure is to verify your coverage online — a benefits specialist will follow up within one business hour.
We’ll tell you exactly what’s covered and what isn’t before you start. For out-of-pocket portions we offer flexible payment plans, and we can refer to other programs in our network or partners if our program isn’t the right fit for your benefits.
Coverage varies by state. Our admissions team can confirm in your specific case during the verification call.
What you need to participate.
A device with a camera (phone, tablet, or computer), a stable internet connection, and a private space for sessions. We’ll walk you through the secure platform on your first day — no technical skills required.
Brief drops happen and we don’t penalize them. If you’re consistently struggling with connection, your case manager can help you find a workaround — including a phone-based fallback for individual sessions.
This is one of the most common questions we get. We work with you to find solutions — using a parked car, a quiet office at work, a library study room, or noise-canceling headphones at home. Your case manager will help problem-solve.
What comes next.
Most clients step down to weekly outpatient therapy, often with the same therapist. You also become an alumni member, which includes weekly virtual alumni meetings, mentorship opportunities, and a national community.
Reach out. Your records, your team, and your history are already here — you don’t start over. Many alumni come back for a refresh of the program, and that’s a strength, not a failure.
